Hong Kong Wedding Day-Grand Hyatt Hong Kong
When it comes to shooting a wedding in Hong Kong, the majority of our Chinese clients have always been very traditional in the way that they celebrate. From the games the bridesmaids play on the groom and his groomsmen in the morning, to the tea ceremony and the traditional dress; it’s a Chinese custom that has passed down through the ages and continues to be a popular rite of passage for our clients.
However, there is something to be said for the more simple style of celebrating a wedding. Kristen and Matthew both live overseas and opted for the Western tradition of a church ceremony at Bethanie, a small tea ceremony and then a banquet in the Grand Ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Matthew’s first glimpse of his beautiful bride was at the church, waiting for Kristen to be escorted down the aisle by her father.
It wasn’t difficult to get caught up in the joy of the day; both Kristen and Matthew have very infectious smiles and outgoing personalities. We feel very honoured to have been a part of their big day and wish them both a very long and happy life together.
