IDY + LAWRENCE + CHARLIE / A Wonderful New Friend
15/2/2011 18:28:24 | other

Charlie is adorably affectionate example of the male species. He¡¦s cute, endearing and very charming when he wants to be. Sometimes he can be a bit shy, at other times he¡¦s surprisingly forward. He can be very open but he can also be hard to read. We ended up spending an entire memorable day getting to know one another and a new friendship was formed.

Charlie, in case you¡¦re all wondering, is a beautiful specimen of Golden Retriever, and a big important part of Idy and Lawrence¡¦s family.

Idy and Lawrence approached us to shoot a set of portraits on one very rare sunny day in January. An already married couple, Idy and Lawrence wanted to include Charlie in their family portraits. Spending time with Charlie made me see dogs in a new light and at times, it really felt as though he understand exactly what I was saying.

I don¡¦t know if Charlie will ever sit down and look at these portraits but I am pretty certain that after the long day of the shoot, we both slept like babies the next day!

JOANNA & CHRIS / Merging The Past & Present
9/2/2011 16:45:16 | engagement

It is rare these days to find someone nostalgic enough to want to return to their primary school as the location for their pre-wedding portraits, but upon arriving at Chris¡¦ old boarding school in the UK, it was clear to see why Joanne and Chris chose to go back. Not only was the school and its grounds beautiful for shooting but the Head-teacher also remembered Chris as one of the school¡¦s ex-students. We took advantage of the warm welcome to shoot in the school¡¦s chapel and also found a nearby castle in which we also shot some portraits.

The weather ¡V unusual for the UK ¡V was brilliant throughout the few days we were there and it was a lovely shooting experience for us as we were taken back to Chris¡¦ primary school days.

Back in Hong Kong, Joanne and Chris also wanted to take some portraits with their beloved dog, Chubby ¡V who really does live up to the name! Cute and cuddly and all sorts of adorable, it¡¦s still funny that Susan¡¦s first thought was that Chubby was a pig.

Joanne and Chris have recently gotten married and we are taking the opportunity to release some of their pre-wedding portraits. We¡¦d like to take the opportunity to wish these newly-weds a wonderful new life together.
