ROSHNI & JAS / Expecting The Unexpected 20/7/2010 1:12:04 | weddings

Roshni and Jas¡¦ wedding celebrations took place over the course of two days. We were at the Intercontinental on the first day; the second day¡¦s festivities were held at the Peninsula. Both are beautiful venues, with luxurious settings suitable for a beautiful couple.
Experience has taught us that brides are usually very particular about keeping to the day¡¦s schedule. Roshni, however, was refreshingly relaxed about timeframes and preferred to let things happen on the fly; as different as the approach was to our usual method of working, the effects that this easy-going atmosphere created an interesting mood for us to work with and produced some fantastically unexpected situations.
Roshni and Jas¡¦ wedding was a perfect east meets west crossover, with western traditions blending seamlessly with Indian culture, presenting us with some interesting creative challenges as well as well as widening our horizons. For example, the bride¡¦s request not to have any photographs of the happy couple kissing was a curious challenge that required some thought, but a challenge that we relished as it provided us with the opportunity to think outside the box. Another example would be the catering; as accustomed as we, the crew, are to the traditional Chinese nine-course banquet beginning with the suckling pig, it was something different, and special for us to experience an occasion catered entirely for vegetarians.
Many thanks to Roshni, Jas and their families for letting us join in on such a special occasion; it truly was a beautiful wedding.

Whether male or female, Indian features are strikingly beautiful ¡V all dark eyes and long lashes that make for great focus in a photograph.
