WINNIE & HENRY / Pre-wedding Portrait Craziness

Chocolate, Dexter, Miu miu, CakeˇK. - no, these arenˇ¦t the nicknames of our happy couple, although we did find ourselves calling out these names quite often on our pre-wedding portrait shoot with Winnie & Henry. Usually during a shoot like this, we have two main stars, the bride and the groom. For this particular shoot, we had eight sharing the limelight; Winnie, Henry and their six ˇV yep, half a dozen ˇV excitable, adorable dogs.

Needless to say, the shoot was full of fun and completely unpredictable, as well as a crazy experience. Keeping track of six mischievous dogs running around in an open studio proved to be quite the challenge; by the end of the shoot, we had confused ourselves with so many names!

Still, it was a fun kind of crazy and the finished results were definitely worth the temporary madness!

JULIA / On Being Happy

In my experience, expectant mothers who come to me for pregnancy portraits are usually a little nervous about the shoot. Julia is one of the exceptions to this ruleˇK and once you meet her, you can see why.

From a blushing bride to a radiant mother-to-be, every time we see her, Juliaˇ¦s always had a smile on her face. The shoot itself was fun, full of laughter and definitely belongs in my happy memories.

I truly believe that Juliaˇ¦s cheerfulness and optimistic outlook on life will create a wonderful, warm environment in which to bring up a child, and hope that Iˇ¦ll be present at more future happy moments.
